The Search e-newsletter is sent bi-monthly to subscribers' email around the middle of the odd-numbered months - January, March, May, July, September, and November. We publicize local workshops, report on member libraries' initiatives and update you on changes to the website. From time to time, we may show you how we solved tough or unusual reference questions and give you some new sites, and maybe some new tools, to help you in your daily reference work.

History
The Search newsletter has been published by the BALIS/PLS/SVLS System Reference Center since 1984. Its predecessors go back to 1976. Its last print issue was published in March 2004. It was revived as a monthly e-newsletter in June 2006, and readers can also get a PDF version. Each volume covers a July-June fiscal year.
